Abstract
Exercise-induced bronchoconstriction is a short-term narrowing of the airways that occurs after intense physical exertion. Symptoms appear after 5–10 minutes after physical exertion and passes by itself after 30 min. after stopping physical activity. The main diagnostic criteria for exercise-induced bronchoconstriction is a decrease in FEV1 ≥ 10% from the initial post-exercise challenge sample. However, there are no unified treatment recommendations.
