Abstract

Vaccination is a highly effective method of preventing certain infectious diseases and some forms of cancer. Immunization saves millions of lives and is widely recognized as one of the world’s most successful and cost-effective health interventions. Vaccines are generally very safe and serious adverse reactions are uncommon.
