DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CHRONIC URTICARIA

Abstract

Urticaria is defined by developments of wheals and/ or signs of angioedema. Symptoms of this disease can occur for 10–20 % of population at least once in their life. Causes of urticaria are very different. That is why they remain unclear frequently. The main pathogenic mechanism is degranulation of mast cells and release of mediators. Urticaria is classified according to its duration and cause. This article reviews recommendations of diagnosis and treatment of this disease.
