SALMETEROL AND FLUTICASONE COMBINATION OF EFFICACY IN THE TREATMENT OF ASTHMA

Abstract

Asthma is common chronic inflammatory airway disease. Uncontrolled asthma impairs patient‘s quality of life and increases costs for health services. The aim of asthma treatment is well controlled asthma, normal patient’s daily activity, reduced exacerbation risk and normal lung function. In order to achieve these goals it is necessary to diagnose disease early, to choose proper treatment and inhalator and to provide information and inhalation skills for patients.
