Abstract

This review article will focus on sarcoidosis diagnosis and treatment principles commonly applied in clinical practice by the Respiratory Physicians in Great Britain. The emphasis has been put on modern diagnostic techniques – EBUS and EUS, compared in the GRANULOMA clinical trial. Also the Multidisciplinary Team approach to the management of the sarcoidosis patients and novel immunosuppressive therapies will be described briefly.
