Abstract

Pleural surgery plays an important role in urgent and routine thoracic surgery. Pleural surgery covers the full range the specific and non-specific pleural diseases, benign and malignant tumors, iatrogenic complications and trauma surgical treatment. This article describes the surgical treatment of pleural diseases with which mostly face pulmonologists and family physicians in their clinical practice.
