ANAPHYLAXIS: DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT
Keywords:
anaphylaxis, adrenaline, diagnosis, treatment
Abstract
Diagnosis and management of anapylaxis is real challenge for physicians because reactions are often unexpected and progress quickly. Management is complicated by its rapid onset and progression and absence of specific diagnostic tests. Adrenaline is the treatment of choice and the first drug administered for acute anaphylaxis. Understanding the risk factors and triggers is critically important.
