Abstract

Many of the children, that attend kinder-garden, often start to suffer from recurrent respiratory disease. Immature immune system, anatomical-physiological characteristics of the child's body and the social factors lead to frequent respiratory infections. For doctors it is important to distinguish whether the infection is caused by serious chronic respiratory disease, because the course of the majority of chronic lung diseases is highly dependent on early diagnosis and timely treatment. In the absence of reliable, evidence-based recommendations for all possible clinical scenarios, we hope that the professional experience-based recommendations, given in this article, will be useful for clinicians.
