NEW GUIDELINES FOR URTICARIA

Abstract

Urticaria is a frequent disease. The wide diversity and number of different urticaria sybtypes have been identified. New guidelines provide recommendations for diagnostic approaches in different subtypes of urticaria. Classification on the basis of its duration, frequency and causes is presented. New guidelines for urticaria covers recommendations for correct treatment, taking into account the recent progress in understanding causes and pathomechanisms. The algorithm for chronic urticaria treatment is presented.
