Abstract

German doctor R.Koch had founded mycobacterium tuberculosis in 1882. There was a long way of humankind in the diagnostics and treatment of TB. Streptomicin was the virst antituberculous drug founded in 1944. WHO declared tuberculosis as a worldwide problem, TB control as a priority action, DOTS strategy as the most effective measure of TB control. Irregular drug using, treatment interuption were the reasons of developing of MDR – TB. Appropriate strategy of treatment becomes very actual in decreasing of MDR-TB.
