Tuberculosis is still very important problem worldwide. In this article we discuss the reason, diagnosis and treatment of drug resistant tuberculosis in children. Drug – resistant tuberculosis increased from 1 to 5 during last 4 years by records of Kaunas 2nd hospital. We present 2 cases of children drug-resistant tuberculosis, when adults infected them with multidrug resistant tuberculosis. Would only DOTS resolve this problem? We think that isolation of adults, who avoid treatment and infect others, must be compulsory.
