Abstract

Congenital cystic lung malformation is one of the most common malformations of the lower respiratory tract. This congenital abnormality of lung is usually diagnosed in the newborn or infancy and very rarely in adults. Therefore physicians for adults with less exposure to this pathology may unidentfied disease or the initially care for such patients can be complicated. This article presents the essential aspects that must be known by the diagnosis, treatment and care of this congenital abnormality (both children and adults).
