PSYCHOGENIC DYSPNEA

Abstract

Psychogenic dyspnea - breathing dysfunction caused by mental reasons. This dysfunctions often are undiagnosed, because patients' outlined symptoms are very similar to symptoms of organic dyspnea. Also, there is not a single standardized method that would help to make an accurate diagnosis. The article discusses the causes of psychogenic dyspnea, its diagnostic aspects and patient care methods.
